  • Remember Me won the Maggie Award in the Single Title category of the Georgia Romance Writers' Maggies contest.

  • Remember Me is the first place winner in the Volusia County Romance Writers Laurel Wreath contest.

  • Laura is thrilled to announce that Remember Me has finaled in the Single Title category of the Georgia Romance Writers' 2011 Maggies Award. Winners will be announced on October 1, 2011.

  • Remember Me earned an Award of Merit in the Mainstream/Single Title category of the 2011 Virginia Romance Writer's HOLT Medallion contest.

  • Remember Me tied for first place in the Single Title Contemporary category of WisRWA's 2011 Write Touch Reader's Award contest.

  • Remember Me was the overall winner for the 2011 Winter Rose Award for Excellence in Romantic Fiction, which is sponsored by the Yellow Rose RWA chapter.

  • Remember Me is a finalist in the 2011 Golden Quill Contest's Single Title/Mainstream category. The Golden Quill Contest is sponsored by the Phoenix Desert Rose RWA Chapter.

  • Remember Me won the 2011 New England Reader's Choice Bean Pot Award in the Mainstream romantic elements category.

  • Remember Me is a finalist in the Single Title category of the Book Buyer's Best Contest sponsored by the Orange County Chapter of RWA.  The winner of each category will be sent to Sue Grimshaw, formerly of Borders, who will be the final judge. The category winners will be announced at the OCCRWA general meeting on June 11, 2011.

  • Remember Me is a finalist in the Single Title Contemporary category of WisRWA's Write Touch Reader's Award contest. Winners will be announced at their spring conference, June 3-5, 2011.

  • Remember Me has finaled in the 'Mainstream with Romantic Elements' category of the 2011 New England Reader's Choice Bean Pot Award. The winners will be announced at the annual conference of the New England Chapter of RWA, Let Your Imagination Take Flight, on April 29th in historic Salem, MA. Laura will also be signing copies of Remember Me and Believe in Me at their book signing event on April 30th. The signing is open to the public and warmly welcomed. There will be lots of great authors present.

  • Believe in Me is up for Best Book honor at "The Long and Short of It" the weekend of March 12-13, 2011.  Voting runs from Saturday, March 12th through Sunday March 13th.  Click here for more information.

  • Attention Romance lovers, TRR, The Romance Reviews, is having a Grand Opening celebration for the month of March. There will be lots of prizes and giveaways, with lots of authors (including yours truly) participating. Do check out the site. It's a wonderful place for Romance fiction lovers!

  • Remember Me has been nominated by TRR reviewers for Best in Contemporary Romance for 2010 at The Romance Reviews. Click here to vote!

  • Every year, "The Long and Short of It" rewards the best of the best.  Remember Me has been nominated in their "Best Book of 2010" poll.  Entries are selected from those books which were rated as "Best Book" in a 2010 review.  Visit The Long and Short of It to vote beginning February 14, 2011. 

  • I'm pleased to announce the winners of a signed copy of Believe in Me: Melissa Keith, Gloria Johnson, Kathie Collins, Judy Grier, Val Stark, Joanne Altieri. Congratulations!   • Laura is thrilled to announce that Believe in Me has been chosen as a featured alternate by both Doubleday and Rhapsody Book Clubs.

  • For all of you who read Slovenian, Laura has just sold the foreign rights to Night Swimming, Remember Me and Believe in Me to Anu Elara, a Slovenian publisher.  As soon as book covers become available, we'll post them.

  • Laura is pleased to announce that In Your Eyes won in the Single Title/Mainstream category of the Holt Medallion contest sponsored by Virginia Romance Writers.

  • Laura's book, In Your Eyes, is a finalist in several contests. These include the 2005 Holt Medallion Contest sponsored by Virginia Romance Writers, the 2005 Romance Writers Ink More Than Magic Contest, the 2005  WisRWA Write Touch Contest and the Desert Rose RWA 2005 Golden Quill Contest. 

  • It's more contest achievements for Laura's Night Swimming.  Laura's book placed first in the 2004 Laurel Contest sponsored by Volusia County Romance Writers, was a 2004 Holt Medallion finalist sponsored by the Virginia Romance Writers, and won the Cover Art Contest sponsored by All About Romance.
  • It was first place for Laura's cover for Night Swimming at the National RWA conference in Dallas, Texas. RWA Members voted on their favorite covers, and Laura's won the ARTemis Award in the Single Title Contemporary category.  Art work was by Jim Griffin of Ballantine. 
  • In the All About Romance annual Cover Contest, Laura's Night Swimming placed first in the Contemporary category. For more information, visit the Cover Contest page.
  • Laura's book, Night Swimming, is a finalist in the Virginia Romance Writers Holt Medallion Contest, Long Contemporary category.
